Kumarakom, truly the emerald of Kerala, the ‘Gods own country’, with its picturesque tourist locations adorned with the charming greenery of paddy fields, tranquil bird sanctuary, diversity of aquatic animal life, and the serene beauty of the Vembanadu lake. Amidst these tempting natural exquisiteness lies 2.5 acres of land with fruit bearing tropical trees like nutmeg, Jackfruit, wild jack (Artocarpus Hirsutus,Anjili), Cocoa, Coconut tree, and more than 30 other herbs and shrubs. In this serene locale is an exotic thatched hut (kudil) designed like the home of the poor people of Kerala. The hut is completely made of wood and other natural materials and build by expert artisans.

The serene experience at Sylvania is further enhanced by the cool breeze from the Vembanad Lake, which is in perfect harmony with the naturally calm atmosphere and the dense vegetation.
